    Description: Sorghum bicolor(L.) Moench is one of Graminea plant. Study of segregating generations for extracting sorghum inbred lines in Iran condition is the basic proceodure for sorghum breeding, which has begun from 1985. This study used the materials which have been produced in previous studies. These materials included 150 segregating populations from F1-F4 and 35 lines in F5 generations and were studied by pedigree method. Each material was planted in one row of 7- meter length, the planting space was 60x12 cm., ( in the F2 generation that space was 60 x 25 cm ) . The main characters such as ; flowering date, tiller number, plant hieght, panicle height , resistance to pest, diseases and lodging , uniformity, harvesting date and the grain yield of each selected plant were recorded . According to traits studied , 127 segregating populations, 31 lines in F5 and 25 lines in F6 were selected. Some F6 and late maturing rows were rejected. The selected pure lines will be studied in the preleminary yield trial and the segregating populations will be furthur selfed for inbred line production. ; Summaries (Fa, En) ; 22 p

    Description: This paper represents the experimental trials to activate blast-furnace slag to produce cementless binding materials. The aims of the work is to study the properties of activated slag mixed with sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate liquid 6 wt% of granulated slag. Also, studying the effect of mixing water (tap and sea water) on the kinetic of activation. The rate of activation of the alkali activated slag (AAS) has been studied by FTIR, TGA, DTG and SEM techniques. The results revealed that the increase of NaOH content and mixing with sea water increase the combined water up to 90 days. On the other hand, the bulk density and compressive strength was increased by increasing Na SiO content in presence of NaOH. The activated granulated slag showed good durability in sea water, i.e., the compressive strength increased gradually with immersing time up to 12 months. Whereas, the strength of sulfate resisting cement (SRC) pastes immersed in sea water increases up to 6 months then decreases up to one year. Therefore, it can be concluded that alkali activated slag are more durable in sea water than SRC pastes.

    Description: In this study, radon concentration of 2D Titanium Carbide MXene Ti3C2 was studied by using an established radon monitor. A layered MAX phase of Ti3AlC2 was synthesized through pressureless sintering (PLS) the initial powder of TiH2/Al/C without preliminary dehydrogenation under argon atmosphere at 1350 °C. An elegant exfoliation approach was used to eliminates Al from its precursor to form a layered-structure of Ti3C2. Morphological and structural properties of this 2D material also studied. SEM images shows two types of morphology which is a layer of Ti3C2 and the agglomerates Al2O3 with graphite. XRD pattern reveals three phases in this material which is a rhombohedral Al2O3, rhombohedral graphite and rhombohedral Ti3C2 phases. Radon concentration for this material for five consecutive days explains the radiation level of this material is under the suggestion value from US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

In the team before starting the tour guide, with team sales and transfer of staff communication, be prepared; during the journey, not only to deal with the relationship between the local guide, but also deal with the driver, the leader even each visitor's relationship. Once the processing errors, is contradictory and easy to upgrade, the consequences can be controlled. Therefore, the tour guide needs to learn how to deal with relevant personnel relationship skills.

    Description: In this study, diallel cross method were used to determine general and specific combining ability of maize lines produced in Safiabad Agriculture Research Center (SARC). For this purpose 32 maize lines were crossed in four separately diallel cross each one with 8 lines in 2008. At all (4×56=224) F1 hybrid produced which evaluated and comparison together and with SC704 hybrid as local check using (RCBD) with three replications in 2009. Significant differences were observed between crosses in four diallel for yield characteristics at one percent level. Results showed that in first diallel cross the cross number 47 and 23 with 9.19 and 8.77 tons grain per hectare respectively; in the second diallel cross the cross number 13 and 11 with 8.01 and 8 tons grain per hectare respectively; in the third diallel cross the cross number 11 and 16 with 10.63 and 10.17 tons grain per hectare respectively and in the forth diallel cross the cross number 46 and 36 with 8.64 and 8.53 tons grain per hectare respectively were in a class and better than local check SC704 with 4.7 tons grain per hectare. ; Summaries (Fa, En) ; 26 p

    Description: The design were conducted at Safiabad Agriculture Research Center (SARC), location in Dezful with arid and semi arid climate, for five years during 2005-2009. It has two parts, the first was comparison of three trials of cimmyt maize hybrids and the second, producing S3 maize lines from cimmyt populations. The result showed that, in the Tropical Threeway Crosses White Late Trial (TTWCWL04) with 20 hybrids, the hybrid one (AF04A432-25x26), eleven(AF04A432-21x22) and thirteen (F04A432-3x4) with 10.41, 9.99 and 9.02 t/ha respectively were better than local checks SC704 and SC700 with 5.73 and 5.49 t/ha respectively. In the Cimmyt Hybrid Trial-Tropical White QPM (CHTTWQ04)with 25 hybrids, the hybrid eight (F03B5300-3x4), five(AF03B5261-15x16) and fifteen (AF03B5261-37x38) with 8.44, 8.21 and 8.01 t/ha respectively were better than local checks SC704 and SC700 with 5.68 and 4.71 t/ha respectively and in the Cimmyt Hybrid Highland Late White (CHTHLW04) with 12 hybrids, all of the them had yield less than local check SC704 with 6.718 t/ha. Moreover, in the part tow of the design, 164 Cimmyt populations were evaluated under drought stress condition and 63 S3 lines produced. The S3 lines were crossed with MO17 line as tester and 43 top crosses produced. The top crosses evaluated under tow conditions, natural irrigation(70 mm evaporation of pan) and drought stress condition(100 to 110 mm evaporation of pan). Based on the results some of the top crosses has appropriate yield and plant performance. But some of them has not good tassel or ear flowers stretcher. Their grain texture was dent, flint or dent-flint and the grain colure was yellow, yellow-orange or yellow-white.
