Die junge Amber, die 1972 in ihre Heimatstadt zurückkehrt, ist nur eins von vielen Opfern eines infernalischen Duos. Die Kriegsveteranen Bob, mittlerweile Sheriff in Tinkerville, und Jimmy nutzen dessen Haus, um dort junge Frauen zu missbrauchen und zu töten - aus unterschiedlichen Motiven. Ein Thriller, verfasst von einem Krimiautor und als Comic umgesetzt von einem Dozenten einer Kunsthochschule - dieser Ausgangspunkt hört sich zunächst vielversprechend an. Zeichner A. Möller hat der Vorlage von M. Mikolajczak mit vielen Schwarzflächen eine düstere Atmosphäre verliehen und setzt die Verschiebung von Panelgrenzen für den Erzählrhythmus ein. Er kann damit jedoch nicht die Mängel der Erzählung ausgleichen: Die Darstellung der Gewalt an Frauen ist nicht ansatzweise zeitgemäß und bleibt komplett eindimensional - ein No-Go in Zeiten von #MeToo und gelungeneren Umsetzungen der Serienmörder-Thematik wie der TV-Serie "Mindhunter". Dieser Comic besteht nicht einmal den Bechdel-Test, daher verzichtbar. Constanze Döring
