Krankheitserreger, die durch Stechmücken übertragen werden, spielen weltweit eine zunehmende Rolle. Humanpathogene Erreger, wie z. B. das Chikungunya (CHIKV)- oder Dengue (DENV)-Virus werden regelmäßig durch infizierte Reiserückkehrer aus Endemiegebieten verschleppt. Unter der Voraussetzung, dass vor Ort kompetente Vektoren etabliert sind, kommt es damit auch in Europa regelmäßig zu autochthonen Übertragungen bzw. kleineren Krankheitsausbrüchen. Im Zuge des Klimawandels, könnten sich die Bedingungen für die Erregerübertragung auch in Deutschland zukünftig weiter verbessern. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde das Vektorpotential einheimischer Stechmücken für das CHIKV, das DENV und das ZIKA-Virus unter Berücksichtigung steigender Temperaturen untersucht.
