Hantaviren stellen hochgefährliche, durch Nagetiere übertragene Krankheitserreger dar. Soldaten zählen zu den beruflich exponierten Risikogruppen, die durch Hantavirus Infektionen besonders gefährdet sind. Für den Nachweis von Infektionen werden serologische Verfahren verwendet, bei denen Virus spezifische Antikörper detektiert werden. Ziel des Forschungsvorhabens war die Etablierung und Prüfung von serologischen Methoden zum Nachweis von Infektionen mit den europäischen Hantaviren Dobrava-Belgrad-Virus(DOBV) und Puumalavirus(PUUV). Mit den hier entwickelten serologischen Testverfahren wird es zukünftig möglich sein, Hantavirusinfektionen bei Militärangehörigen serologisch mit hoher Sensitivität und Spezifität zu diagnostizieren.(AUT)
