    Abstract: Objective: This study aims to evaluate the influence of dietary flavonoids on the growth performance, blood and intestinal profiles, and carcass characteristics of broilers by employing a meta-analysis method.Methods: A database was built from published studies which have reported on the addition of various levels of flavonoids from herbs into broiler diets and then monitored growth performance, blood constituents, carcass proportion and small intestinal morphology. A total of 42 articles were integrated into the database. Several forms of flavonoids in herbs were applied in the form of unextracted and crude extracts. The database compiled was statistically analyzed using mixed model methodology. Different studies were considered as random effects, and the doses of flavonoids were treated as fixed effects. The model statistics used were the p-values and the Akaike information criterion. The significance of an effect was stated when its p-value was 〈 0.05.Results: Dietary flavonoids increased (quadratic pattern; p 〈 0.05) the average daily gain of broilers in the finisher phase. There was a reduction (p 〈 0.01) in the feed conversion ratio of the broilers both in the starter (linear pattern) and finisher phases (quadratic pattern). The mortality rate tended to decrease linearly (p 〈 0.1) with the addition of flavonoids, while the carcass parameter was generally not influenced. A reduction (p 〈 0.001) in cholesterol and malondialdehyde concentrations (both linearly) was observed, while super oxide dismutase activity increased linearly (p 〈 0.001). Increasing the dose of flavonoids increased (p 〈 0.01) the villus height (VH) and villus height and crypt depth (VH:CD) ratio (p 〈 0.05) in the duodenum. Similarly, the VH:CD ratio was elevated (p 〈 0.001) in the jejunum following flavonoid supplementation.Conclusion: Increasing levels of flavonoids in broilers diet leads to an improvement in growth performance, blood constituents, carcass composition and small intestinal morphology.

    Abstract: ABSTRAK : Semenjak Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan berlaku, hukum perkawinan beda agama mengalami kesulitan kepastian hukum. Dalam undang-undang ini, pengertian perkawinan beda agama tidak diatur dalam pasal-pasalnya bahkan tidak diartikan ke dalam perkawinan campuran. Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2006 tentang Administrasi Kependudukan, yang dalam salah satu pasalnya diatur bahwa perkawinan beda agama dapat dicatatkan di Kantor Catatan Sipil setelah mendapat penetapan Pengadilan Negeri untuk hal itu, dalam hal ini seperti terjadi ketidakserasian. Penelitian yang dilakukan dalam pembahasan masalah ini menggunakan pendekatan hukum normatif atau pendekatan perundang-undangan terhadap taraf singkronisasi hukum. Teori yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah teori sistem hukum dan teori hierarki peraturan perundang-undangan. Teori ini berfungsi untuk menguatkan analisis singkronisasi antarperaturan hukum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melakukan sinkronisasi hukum yang berkaitan dengan hukum perkawinan beda agama sehingga terlihat taraf sinkronisasi hukum perkawinan beda agama. Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2006 tentang Administrasi Kependudukan hanya mengatur tempat pencatatan perkawinan beda agama bila diizinkan pengadilan. Aturan  keabsahan perkawinan dikembalikan kepada Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1974. Secara vertikal kecenderung antar peraturan saling terjadi ketidaksesuaian (tidak serasi). Perkawinan beda agama memiliki beberapa akibat hukum yaitu salah satunya tidak sahnya perkawinan tersebut.

    Abstract: Regulations that become positive state laws, when they are made, cannot be separated from political influence, both from the executive, legislative and social conditions. This factor affects the speed of regulation. This economic interests content includes those in power, owners of capital, or the community's interests. The history of regulation development in the legal politics behind the regulation include leasing and guarantees, starting from buying and selling in the Civil Code, guarantees when lending and borrowing up to the minister of Finance. How is the development of leasing and guarantee law, the laws that govern it and how the rule of law corridors to the regulatory needs of the development of treaties on assets are the focus of discussion in this journal article.Keywords: Leasing; Guarantee Law; Legal Politics AbstrakPeraturan yang menjadi hukum positif negara, saat dibuat  tidak lepas dari pengaruh politik, baik pengaruh pihak eksekutif, legislatif dan kondisi sosial masyarakat. Anasir ini mempengaruhi cepat tidaknya suatu peraturan saat dibuat, muatan kepentingan ekonomi pemegang kekuasaan, pemilik modal ataupun kepentingan masyarakat. Sejarah perkembangan suatu peraturan dari waktu kewaktu, dapat terlihat politik hukum dibalik peraturan tersebut, misalkan ketentuan leasing dan jaminan, berawal dari jual-beli yang ada dalam KUHPerdata, jaminan saat pinjam meminjam sampai dengan Peraturan-peraturan Menteri Keuangan.     Abstract: This study was aimed to examine the influence of drying temperature on phytochemical compounds and chemical characteristic of matoa (Pometia pinnata) peels. This study used a completely randomized design with the drying temperature treatments which was divided into P0 = freeze drying (control), P1 = 50Ë%C, P2 = 60Ë%C, and P3 = 70Ë%C, each treatment was dried for 48 hours. Variables observed were phytochemical compounds, water content, ashes content, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, IC50, malondialdehide/MDA and phenol. This study used analysis of variance followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test when the results showed significance dierence. It was calculated through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21.0. The results showed that the drying temperature influenced water content and IC 50. The phytochemical compounds of matoa peels were observed through qualitative screening included flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. The best results on the drying treatment of matoa peels was P1 (50Ë%C) which presented 9.47±0.14% water content, 3.74±0.07% ashes content, 4.89±0.03% crude protein, 0.46±0.04% crude fat, 34.42±2.16% crude fiber, 30.92±10.25 IC50, 12.85±1.49 mg/g MDA, and 0.85±0.23% phenol.

    Abstract: The quality and palatibility of silage and hay complete ration based on organic primer garbage in peranakan etawah (PE) poadABSTRACT. This research was conducted to study the quality and palatability of silage and hay complete ration based on organic primer garbage in nine heads of Peranakan Etawah (PE) Goat. The quality of silage and hay was evaluated By measuring pH, total number of lactic acid Bacteria (LAB), palatability, dry matter (DM) and organic matter (OM) aroma and color of silage. Nine heads of peranakan etawah were grouped based on their lactation periode and randomly assigned to one of tree dietary treatments. The treatments were (1) Control rations; (2) silage complete ration (SRK); and (3) Hay complete ration (HRK). The results indicated that the silage had PH 4.15 and total number of LAB was 2.4 x 10 cfu/g of silage. Dry matter and organic matter digestibility of SRK were better than those of HRK. The palatability of SRK was higher than HRK but less than control. Storage of SRK for did not change dry matter and organic matter content. Organoleptic analysis indicated that texture and color of HRK were changed at after storage, while SRK was still constant. It is concluded that silage composed of organic primer garbage has high quality in terms of physical, chemical and microbial characteristics, prolong storage.

    Abstract: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik fermentasi beberapa jenis leguminosa di dalam cairan rumen kambing secara in vitro. Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok pada 7 jenis tanaman dalam 4 kelompok cairan rumen yang berbeda. Tanaman leguminosa yang digunakan antara lain, Alfalfa (Medicago sativa), Angsana (Pterocarpus indicus), Gamal (Gliricidia sepium), Indigofera (Indigofera zollingeriana), Kaliandra (Calliandra callothyrsus), Lamtoro (Leucaena leucochephala), dan turi (Sesbania grandiflora). Peubah yang diamati antara lain produksi gas total, kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, dan protein. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produksi gas tanaman indigofera dan alfalfa lebih memperlihatkan tren yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan empat tanaman lainnya. Kecernaan bahan kering (KCBK) dan bahan organik (KCBO) memperlihatkan perbedaan yang nyata (P 〈 0,01) dimulai dari yang tertinggi adalah Indigofera, alfalfa, gamal, turi, lamtoro, kaliandra dan angsana. Terdapat interaksi yang nyata (P 〈 0,05) antara perlakuan dan kelompok. Tanaman I zollingeriana memiliki karakteristik fermentasi rumen yang lebih baik dibandingkan tanaman leguminosa lainnya.Kata kunci: fermentasi rumen, in vitro, leguminosa

    Abstract: This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the effects of glycerine supplementation at various concentrations on performance, rumen fermentation, blood metabolites and product characteristics of beef and dairy cattle in vivo by using a quantitative meta‐analysis approach. Meta‐analysis was performed by integrating a total of 52 studies from 39 articles and 182 treatments into a database. Data were constructed into an intact database and did not distinguish between beef and dairy cattle, except for the parameters of production performance and product characteristics. Data summarized were analysed by using a statistical meta‐analysis that employed a fixed effect of glycerine supplementation level and a random effect of various studies for both beef and dairy cattle. Significance of an effect was stated at the probability level of p   〈  .05, and p   〈  .1 was considered as a tendency of significant. Results revealed that there was a linear decrease on dry matter intake ( p   〈  .01) and daily gain ( p   〈  .05) of beef cattle with the increasing levels of glycerine supplementation. Glycerine supplementation did not decrease milk production of lactating dairy cows. Molar proportion of acetate in the rumen was decreased ( p   〈  .001), whereas propionate and butyrate proportions were increased (both at p   〈  .001) by glycerine supplementation. Generally, glycerine did not change nutrient digestibility except that it reduced fibre digestibility ( p   〈  .001). Glycerine supplementation linearly lowered triglyceride and NEFA concentrations (both at p   〈  .05) in the blood serum, but not other blood metabolites. Glycerine tended to linearly increase ( p   〈  .1) carcass percentage in beef cattle. Increasing dietary glycerine levels decreased milk fat ( p   〈  .01) but elevated milk protein ( p   〈  .001). Glycerine tended to increase milk lactose ( p   〈  .1) by following a quadratic pattern. The proportion of MUFA was increased quadratically by glycerine supplementation ( p   〈  .05), whereas glycerine tended to decrease SFA by following a quadratic pattern ( p   〈  .1).

    Abstract: Chitosan (CHI) has been used as a feed additive in ruminant diets, but the effects obtained to date have been varied. This study aimed to evaluate the dietary addition of CHI on performance, nutrient utilization, and product characteristics of ruminants by using a meta‐analysis approach. A total of 15 articles that composed of 21 studies and 57 data points were included in the database. Number of articles reported the effects of dietary CHI addition were six on beef cattle, seven on dairy cows, and two papers on sheep. Data analysis was based on the mixed model methodology, in which CHI addition levels were considered as fixed effects whereas different studies were treated as random effects. Results revealed that, across various studies, CHI decreased ruminal acetate proportion ( p   〈  0.05) and increased propionate proportion ( p   〈  0.01). Dry matter and crude protein digestibility were elevated due to CHI addition ( p   〈  0.05). CHI decreased blood cholesterol level ( p   〈  0.05) and increased monounsaturated fatty acid proportion in the milk ( p   〈  0.05). However, CHI addition had no effect on dry matter intake, milk production, and milk efficiency of ruminants. In conclusion, CHI is able to modify rumen fermentation towards a favorable direction, but it limitedly affects performance of ruminants.

    Abstract: ABSTRACT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh substitusi hijauan dengan silase daun ubi kayu (SDUK) dan konsentrat dengan hay ubi kayu difermentasi ragi (Habira) terhadap produksi susu, kualitas susu, dan efisiensi ekonomi sapi perah. Materi yang digunakan adalah lima (5) ekor sapi Friesian Holstein (FH) periode laktasi kedua (66±11 hari) dengan bobot badan 387,6±6,8 kg diberi perlakuan pakan dalam Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin 5 x 5. Perlakuannya adalah T0 (hijauan 60% + 20% konsentrat + 20% ampas tahu), T1 (hijauan 40% + 20% SDUK + 20% konsentrat + 20% ampas tahu), T2 (hijauan 40% + 20% SDUK + 15%. konsentrat + 20% ampas tahu + 5% Habira), T3 (40% hijauan + 20% SDUK + 15% konsentrat + 20% ampas tahu + 10% Habira) dan T4 (60% hijauan + 10% konsentrat + 20% limbah tahu + 10% Habira). Variabel yang diukur adalah indeks suhu kelembapan (THI), konsumsi pakan, produksi susu, kualitas susu, hubungan konsumsi protein dan total nutrien tercerna/total digestible nutrient (TDN) dengan produksi susu serta efisiensi pakan dan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai THI yang diperoleh mengindikasikan sapi perah mengalami cekaman panas. Perlakuan T1, T2, T3 dan T4 berbeda nyata (P0,05) dengan T0 dalam konsumsi nutrisi dan produksi susu, sedangkan komposisi susu tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan. Konsumsi protein dan TDN pakan memiliki hubungan linier dengan produksi susu (P0,05). Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan (P0,05) dalam efisiensi pakan dan ekonomis. Dapat disimpulkan SDUK dan Habira merupakan pengganti hijauan dan konsentrat yang baik untuk sapi perah laktasi.  (Effect of forage and concentrate substitution with cassava leaves silage and cassava hay on milk production and milk composition of Friesian Holstein dairy cows) ABSTRAK. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of forage replacement by cassava leaves silage (CLS) and commercial concentrate by yeast fermented cassava hay (Yefecah) on the production and quality of milk and economic evaluation. Five, early on the second lactation cycle (66±11 day in milk) Holstein Friesian cows were randomly assigned to a 5 (treatments) x 5 (replications). Treatments were T0 (60% forage + 20% concentrate + 20% tofu waste), T1 (40% forage + 20% CLS + 20 % concentrate + 20% tofu waste), T2 (40% forage + 20 % CLS + 15% concentrate + 20% tofu waste + 5% Yefecah), T3 (40% forage + 20 % CLS + 15% concentrate + 20% tofu waste + 10% Yefecah) and T4 (60% forage + 10% concentrate + 20% tofu waste + 10% Yefecah). Variables measured were temperature-humidity index (THI), feed intake, milk production, milk composition, interrelationship crude protein (CP) and total digestible nutrient (TDN) supply to milk production, and economic factors. The Result shows that T1, T2, T3, and T4 were significantly (P0.05) from T0 on nutrients intake and milk production. Whilst, the treatments were not significant (P0.05) affect to 4% fat corrected milk (FCM) and milk quality with T2 and T3 obtained the best value. The variables of CP and TDN intake have a positive relationship to milk production (P0.05). There were no significant differences in (P0.05) in feed and economical efficiency. It could be concluded that cassava foliage silage and yefecah were the good replacement of forage and concentrate for dairy cows.
