Nanopartikuläre Arzneistoffsysteme sind ein viel versprechender Ansatz die speziellen Anforderungen, die an eine Arzneiform gestellt werden, zu erfüllen. Mit ihnen scheint das lang verfolgte Ziel der Pharmaforschung, das gezielte TransƠportieren (Drug-Targeting) und das kontrollierte Freisetzen des Arzneistoffs am Wirkort (Controlled Release) und damit das Minimieren unerwünschter Nebenwirkungen, in greifbare Nähe zu rücken.
