Ziel der hier vorliegenden in vitro Untersuchung war es, den Einfluss von Brauchwasserdesinfektionsmitteln zahnärztlicher Behandlungseinheiten auf den Randschluss von Kompositfüllungen mit selbstätzenden Dentinadhäsiven mittels Farbstoffpenetrationstest zu untersuchen. Die Auswertung erfolgte getrennt nach Schmelz und Dentin, sowie getrennt nach Lagerungszeit mit und ohne künstliche Probenalterung. Für die Studie wurden 160 frisch extrahierte, karies- und füllungsfreie menschliche Molaren der bleibenden Dentition verwendet. Durch Präparation mit diamantierten Bohrern wurden die Prüfkörper mit einer standardisierten mod-Kavität versehen. Dies erfolgte unter Kühlung mit dem Brauchwasser-Desinfektionsmittel-Gemisch mit einem der beiden Desinfektionsmittel Dentosept P® und Alpron®, mit Wasser als Kontrollgruppe und mit einer CHX-Kavitätentoilette nach Präparation mit Wasser.
