Interview mit Josef Sayer: Mehr als 80% der Ärmsten dieser Welt leben in direkter Abhängigkeit von der umgebenden Natur. Deren Schädigung oder Zerstörung durch hochtechnisierten Abbau der Ressourcen und übermäßigen Enerieverbrauch kommt einer Minderheit von Reichen zu Gute und lässt eine Mehrheit von Armen zurück. Nachhaltige Entwicklung erfordert die Überwindung dieser strukturellen Ausgrenzung. Der Weg dahin führt über eine dezentrale Energirversorgung, bei der Energiegewinnung und -verbrauch eng beieinander liegen, sowie über eine weitgehend klimaneutrale Produktionsweise.Die zunehmenden Kämpfe um Energie und Wasser bedürfen eines Dialogs, der darauf bedacht ist, die Lebensgrundlagen gemeinsam zu sichern. Die Bewahrung der Schöpfung und die gerechte Verteilung ihrer Güter wird aber nicht möglich sein ohne einen Wandel des Bewusstseins und des Lebensstils, vor allem in den reichen Ländern.
