Docudrama made by striking workers in one of the longest and most bitter strikes in US history. Funded by the American Communist Party, the film shows the reasons why the workers went on strike and tries to explain that the workers are not striking to cause unrest but to get the right to earn a living wage. The film was made with the actual strikers as actors and included footage of conditions at the mills involved in the strikes. Extras: Audio commentary by Steven J. Ross.
