Dictionary of Patriarch Euthymius’ language. Part I: A – N. In the 14th c. the Slavic literature experienced its second great flourishing after the Bulgarian Golden 10th c. The chief bookman and spiritual leader is Patriarch Euthymius, whose main goal is to update the writing by creating a new spelling and editing the liturgical manuscripts. He has left a rich literary heritage, including liturgical books, laudatory works, passionals and epistles.So far we did not have a dictionary of his language. This first volume launches a future comprehensive dictionary based on original and translated works by Patriarch Euthymius.
