Figure 4 shows a silver stained gel (panel A), ProQ Emerald Green glycostained gel (panel B), a Western blot with the anti-capsule MAb 11B7 (panel C) and a Western blot with MAb anti-LPS MAb FB11 (panel D), Lane S is the molecular weight standard, lane 1 contains the crude capsule prep before Triton X114 treatment, lane 2 contains the capsule preparation after Triton X-114 treatment and lane 3 contains LPS separated into the Triton X114 fraction.
This contains minimal amounts of residual capsule.
