Abstract

We report on measurements of differential μ-b¯ cross sections, where the muon is from a semileptonic b decay and the b¯ is identified using precision track reconstruction in jets. The semidifferential correlated cross sections dσ/dETb¯, dσ/dpTb¯, and dσ/dδφ(μ-b¯) for pTμ≳9 GeV/c, ‖ημ‖〈0.6,ETb¯〉 10 GeV, ‖ηb¯‖<1.5 are presented and compared to next-to-leading order QCD calculations. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
