Zusammenfassung:Dieses Buch dient als Prolegomena zu einer Neuausgabe der ersten beiden Bücher der Anthologie des Stobaeus (5. Jh. n. Chr.). Diese Edition ersetzt die Ausgabe von C. Wachsmuth aus dem Jahre 1884. Tiziano Dorandi erstellt eine detaillierte Liste aller Handschriften der Anthologie und analysiert die Beziehungen zwischen diesen Zeugen, um ihre Bedeutung bei der Erstellung des Stobaeus-Textes zu ermitteln. Das erste Mal wird ein stemma codicum zu diesem Zweck verwendet. Die in der Edition angewandten Kriterien weichen erheblich von denen Wachmuths ab. Angereichert ist der Band mit einer Bibliografie, Indizes und einer Konkordanz.
This book serves as prolegomena to a new edition of the first two books of the Anthology of Stobaeus (5thc. CE). This edition will replace the now outdated one by C. Wachsmuth published in 1884. After having drawn up a detailed list of all the manuscripts of the Anthology, Tiziano Dorandi analyzes the relationships between these witnesses in order to determine their importance in the establishment of Stobaeus' text. For the first time a stemma codicum will be drawn for this purpose. The criteria followed in the edition deviate considerably from those applied by Wachmuth. The volume is enriched with a bibliography, indices and a concordance.
