CD4⁺ T_H1-cell response in Adam17^fl/fl×CD4cre⁺ mice.

Adam17^fl/fl×CD4cre^- and Adam17^fl/fl×CD4cre⁺ mice were infected i.v. with 2×10⁴ LmOVA. (A, B) After 8 days of infection, lymphocytes isolated from spleen and liver were incubated for 4 h without (none) and with LLO_189-201 peptide. Frequencies of CD40L⁺ TNF-α⁺ IFN-γ⁺ CD4⁺ T cells were measured by flow cytometry. (A) Representative dot plots for spleen cells stimulated with LLO_189-201 peptide. Subsequently, the frequencies of T_H1 (CD40L⁺ TNF-α⁺ IFN-γ⁺), T_H17 (CD40L⁺ IL-17A⁺) and T_H1/T_H17 (CD40L⁺ IL-17A⁺ IFN-γ⁺) cells were determined by flow cytometry.
