In the Results section, under the subheading “Decisions to withdraw mechanical ventilation and comfort of patients during the dying process”, the second sentence of the second paragraph should read “Presence of a relative in the room was twice as common during the first step of terminal weaning as during immediate extubation”.

The original article stated the opposite, thus contradicting the correct data in Table 2. The corrected sentence is now in accordance with the findings presented in Table 2.
