Riddles [duchas:4853829]

As black as ink, as white as milk, ink or milk it isn't, it hops on the road like a marble stone, and a marble stone it isn't? (A magpie.)

What goes away between two woods and comes home between two waters? (A man fetching water in wooden pails)
Rosemary Costello

As round as an apple, as deep as a pail, it never cries out till it's caught by the tail? (A bell)

What goes from house to house and never moves? (A path.)

What turns and never moves? (Milk).
