Auf dem Weg vom Bahnhof zum Stadttheater, an dem er die Rolle des Salem in dem Stück "Angst essen Seele auf" von R.W. Fassbinder spielt, wird der dunkelhäutige Schauspieler Mulu von einer Gruppe rechtsradikaler Jugendliche angepöbelt. Es kommt zu einer Schlägerei, in der Mulu unterlegen ist. Bei der Anhörung im Polizeibus kommt es zu absurden Situationen wie z.B. der Versuch des älteren Polizisten, Mulu darauf aufmerksam zu machen, daß man nicht: "Angst essen Seele auf" sagt, sondern "Angst ißt Seele auf"! Während die beiden Polizisten den Fall noch relativ neutral bearbeiten, wirft der Rechtsradikale immer wieder bissige Kommentare ein, bis es zu einer Handgreiflichkeit zwischen Mulu und ihm kommt. Angewidert und blutverschmiert eilt Mulu zum Theater. Seinen Auftritt will er nicht absagen. Der im Iran geborene Schauspieler, Autor und Regisseur Shabaz Noshir erzählt in dem 13-minütigen Kurzfilm seine eigene Geschichte: Während er in Thüringen mit der Bühnenversion zu "Angst essen Seele auf" gastierte, wurde er von einer Gruppe junger Leute als "dreckiger Ausländer" beschimpft und zusammengeschlagen. Viele Passanten sahen einfach zu.
