    Inhalt: This volume elucidates the changing relationship between heroization and othering in a German-Chinese cultural comparison. Intercultural case studies illustrate which representatives of German culture and history were subjected to a process of heroization or were disparaged as negative anti-heroes in Chinese culture. Vice versa, Chinese figures who adopted a corresponding heroic or antiheroic function within the German-speaking world are also examined. This German-Chinese dialogue, in which cultural scientists from Germany and China participate, is guided by the assumption that processes of heroization and de-heroization represent paradigmatic focal points in the economics of intercultural transfer. The relationship between individual and collective heroism and the meaning of alienness - be it of Chinese or German characteristics - when importing heroes offer new perspectives insofar as these importations prove to be complex and inconsistent.     Inhalt: In einer Verbindung von diskurs-, medien- und literaturgeschichtlicher Perspektivierung wird gezeigt, dass die Einführung der Kategorie des Individuellen in den Bereich des Wissens und damit die Entstehung des modernen Falldenkens am Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts erst durch Fallsammlungen ermöglicht wird, die in Zeitschriften publiziert werden. Im Rekurs auf Flecks Konzept der Zeitschriftenwissenschaft wird das Medium als das Fallmaterial organisierendes Dispositiv untersucht, das in seiner Heterogenität, Vorläufigkeit und Diskursivität dem Genre der Falldarstellung entspricht. Die Analyse von Falldarstellungen im Publikationskontext periodischer Schriften verdeutlicht, dass Fälle nicht als isolierte Einzeltexte zu betrachten sind, sondern in ihren Formen und Funktionen erst erfasst werden können, wenn man sie in einem intertextuellen Gefüge von Reihenbildungen, Weiterverarbeitungen und Diskussionen in den Blick nimmt. Autoren und Psychologen wie Herz, Moritz, Wezel, Hoffbauer, Reil, Maimon, Trapp, Bendavid, Conz oder Müllner werden situiert als Teil einer Debattenkultur, die vorrangig über Zeitschriftennetzwerke organisiert ist. Ein Konnex von Fallsammlungen und literarischen Diskursen ergibt sich nicht nur durch thematische Interferenzen, sondern ebenso durch die Adaption literarischer Narrationsformen bei der Konstruktion von Fällen
    Inhalt: By combining the perspectives of discourse, media and literary history, this book shows that awareness of the category of individuality, and therefore the emergence of modern case law thinking, was only generated at the end of the 18th century through the publication of collections of cases in journals. With recourse to Fleck’s concept of journal theory, this book examines this medium as the agency that organised the case material and that corresponded to the genre of case reports because of its heterogeneity, provisional nature and discursiveness. Analysing case reports in the context of their publication in periodicals highlights that cases should not be regarded as isolated individual texts, but that their forms and functions can only be understood if they are examined within an intertextual framework of series of images, further processing and discussions. This book classes authors and psychologists such as Herz, Moritz, Wezel, Hoffbauer, Reil, Maimon, Trapp, Bendavid, Conz or Müllner as being part of a culture of debate which overrides networks of journals. Furthermore, there is not only a connection between collections of cases and literary discourse in terms of their overlapping themes, but also through their adaptation of literary forms of narration in the construction of cases

    Inhalt: The book deals in detail with the requirements of existing copyright exceptions, for libraries in German statutory copyright law. In Germany, the same as in all other EU member states, it is the rule that for copyright related "exploitations", such as copying, distribution, presentation or (internet-) communication to the public , there must exist a copyright exception or, if the conditions for such an exception are not met, the consent of the copyright holder must be provided. In 2018, especially for scientists, research and educational institutions, libraries and other cultural heritage institutions , new exceptions were created in §§ 60a ff. of the German Copyright Act (UrhG). At the time of publication of this version of the book, the next copyright reform is on its way, namely the implementation of the "Copyright in the Digital Single Market" Directive ("DSM Directive"). This publication refers to the provisions of the Directive from the respective passages. The DSM Directive must be implemented into German law by June 7, 2021.

Der Sammelband versucht, diese Fragen anzureißen, Wege der Auseinandersetzung zu skizzieren oder zu initiieren, aber auch grundlegende Probleme zu benennen.
    Inhalt: Anyone who visits Berlin’s Olympic Park will inevitably stumble across the continued effects of the site's Nazi monumentality—and also its largely unbroken tradition of ethnic and anti-Semitic monumentality. The criticism of this is diverse, but so far rather loosely interwoven: Where does the debate stand—or, indeed, where do the debates stand? What views are there from the perspectives of history, museums, art, politics, sport or monument protection? Where can bridges of criticism be built, where are the different perspectives contradictory, and where is fundamental reorientation or readjustment of the debate(s) required? This anthology attempts to address these questions, not only to outline or initiate paths of debate but also to identify fundamental problems.

Als Herzstück kann die Untersuchung der rechtlich komplexen Fragestellung bezeichnet werden, wie sich die einzelnen beim Spielertransfer geschlossenen Verträge im Falle der anfechtungsbedingten Unwirksamkeit eines oder mehrerer dieser Verträge rechtlich zueinander verhalten. Abschließend wird unter Berücksichtigung der Untersuchungsergebnisse die Anfechtungsentscheidung selbst untersucht und Leitlinien für die Entscheidungsfindung entwickelt.
    Inhalt: The thesis deals with the prerequisites and legal consequences of the contestation (Anfechtung) of transfer transactions in professional sports, taking into account the typical case constellations. The core of the work is the examination of the legally complex question of how the individual contracts concluded in the transfer of players relate to each other in the event of the invalidity of one or more of these contracts due to contestation. Considering the results of the study, the decision to contest is examined and guidelines for the decision-making process are developed.
