    Abstract: The pesantren moderation life is a cultural agent of noble religious life. As understood together, that Kyai is a source of pesantren culture. The success of the institution's moderation culture, is certainly inseparable from the communication patterns in creating an important component in the pesantren moderation culture. Based on that opinion, this research is very important to do. This study examines the pesantren leadership model in developing its moderation culture. The study will be conducted using a qualitative phenomonological approach. After conducting in-depth study, the discussions can be concluded that leadership communication is carried out based on the kyai knowledge and awareness. In the process, there are several important things to be found, namely, first, purposes. It includes informing, influencing or persuading, instructing and engaging moderation process. Second, the compilation of messages based on weakness of pesantren moderation and feedback shown by the pesantren society. Third, the selection of communication channels which includes verbal (meeting communication and the important meeting others) and nonverbal (uswah action and postering).

    Abstract: This study will discuss the ambiguity of the Majelis Tafsir al-Qur'an (MTA) as a missionary organization trying to explore the sacred heirlooms in the form of Islamic law or trying to purify Islamic law, by making MTA interpretations as a reference for their da'wah, in the introduction to their interpretation they will not using the hadith daif, the history of Israel as a reference. However, in reality, they are precisely inconsistent with the principles of the teachings of making the Old Testament as the source of their interpretation. This research is a library research that seeks to explore and explore the interpretations carried out by MTA. Through al-Dhakhil's approach as a study of the theory of criticism of puritan ideological interpretation, it was found that the interpretation of MTA which became the reference of his da'wah, was inconsistent between statements and practice and made the old treaty as a reference in his interpretation and equated with Torah, even though the two were different.

    Abstract: This paper is about the Islamization movement of the kingdoms in South Sulawesi, sointegrated sara 'is into a social institution called pangadereng (Bugis) angadakkang (Makassar). To ensure the upholding of Islamic law, which has been integrated into the social system, a religious bureaucracy (Islam) known aswas formed sara '.     Abstract: The implementation of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah Method is expected to be able to form the reading of Al Qur an santri Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng which were originally influenced by dialects from each region to be harmonious in accordance with the Qira ah standard taught by K.H.M. Yusuf Masyhar. Based on the background above, this thesis is focused on three aspects of description, namely: 1) learning planning of Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah in Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng 2) the learning process of Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah in Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng 3) evaluation of learning Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah at the Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng. This study states that the implementation of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah method includes: classical fas} ah} ah development, Al Qur'an payment, and Al Qur'an memorization. Evaluation of the learning of the Qur'an Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah carried out as a whole, both evaluations that are formal (the Qur'anic test) which is carried out every 6 months and evaluations relating to the learning process of the Qur'an Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah every month. The results of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah method at the Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School can form the Qur'anic readings of the students who were originally influenced by their respective regional dialects to be harmonious according to the Qira ah standard taught by K.H. M. Yusuf Masyhar, so that students of the Islamic Boarding School in Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng can practice the reading of the Qur'an in their respective regions. Criteria for harmony in reading the Qur'an include: harmonious in the field of proficiency in saying makharijul h} uruf, harmonious in the practice of tajwid when reading the Qur'an and be harmonious in rhythm or song when chanting the verses of the Qur'an.

    Abstract: Epistemology is basically a branch of philosophy that studies the roots of thought and basic concepts of submission. The concept has a paradigm that gives birth to an idea in the process of thinking. This shows that there is an epistemology used by classical commentators, Ibn Katsir in understanding and explaining verses of the Qur'an in a lengthy and broad manner. Because of this interpretation if examined and critically examined again will be found in a comprehensive direction of thought in interpreting the Qur'an. Therefore, this paper is here to express and map significantly the epistemology of Ibn Katsir thought in the interpretation process. Thus it can be concluded, the source of knowledge in the interpretation contains two broad classifications, namely: First. Tafsir Bil Ma’tsur. Secondly, Tafsir Al-Ra'yi. The interpretation of bil matsur is divided into four interpretations, namely, the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’ran, the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Hadith, the interpretation of the Qur’an with friends, and the interpretation of the Qur’an with the opinion the tabi'in. while the interpretation of Al-Ra'yi as rational is supported by the science of the rules of language to reveal the meaning of sitematic ceremony. In short, the author will make a clear contribution on how the epistemology of the Qur'anic interpretation is carried out by Ibn Katsir.

    Abstract: The purpose of this research is to understand the thoughts of Gus Dur and Nurcholish Majid about pluralism. In Indonesian society, which is pluralistic, friction between understandings in various structures of community groups is unavoidable. For this reason, it is important to understand how Gus Dur and Nurcholish Majid think in terms of pluralism. And what are the similarities and differences in their thinking. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and the type of research is library research. Data collection comes from several books and scientific works in the form of journals that are relevant to the themes in the research. The data processing in this study was analyzed in accordance with a count approach (statistics) but through the presentation of thoughts, opinions of experts, or information related to the problem. Gus Dur's idea of ​​pluralism has the main goal of creating harmonization of a pluralistic Indonesian society. And according to Nurcholish majid pluralism is a positive value and grace from God to mankind to enrich the growth of diverse cultures.      Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memhami pemikiran Gus dur dan Nurcholish Majid tentang pluralisme. Dalam masyarakat indonesia yang mejemuk  pergesekan antar paham diberbagai struktur kelompok masyarakat tidak dapat dihindari. Untuk itu penting memahami bagaimana pemikiran Gus Dur dan Nurcholish Majid dalam hal pluralisme. Serta apa saja persamaan dan perbedaan dalam pemikiran keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library reseach). Pengumpulan data bersumber dari beberapa buku dan karya ilmiah berupa jurnal yang relevan dengan tema yang ada dalam penelitian. Adapun Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini  dianalisis sesuai dengan pendekatan hitungan (statistik) tetapi memalui penyajian pemikiran,pendapat para ahli, atau informasi yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan. Gasasan pluralisme Gus Dur memiliki tujuan utama yaitu menciptakan harmonisasi masyarakat Indonesia yang majemuk. Dan  menurut Nurcholish majid pluralisme merupakan nilai positif dan rahmat dari Tuhan kepada umat manusia untuk memperkaya pertumbuhan budaya yang beraneka ragam.

    Abstract: The goal of this research is to find out what the Qur'an and hadith say about education and what ideals they include. This study intends to 1) learn the values of Islamic education found in the Qur'an and hadith, and 2) learn the cultivation of Islamic educational ideals contained in surah al-Hujurat. This study employs a content analysis technique to qualitative research. The tahlily approach was employed in this study. Data is evaluated utilizing tahliliy methods to study surah al-Hujurat and surat Al-baqarah connected to Islamic educational ideals, as well as analyze and interpret hadith, during the data gathering stage of library research. The findings of this research show that educational values in the Qur'an and hadith are the most important sources in the pedidikan of human character, where education is an effort to form a human being who practices karimah and is expected to become a more obedient, godly human being, with the main goal of bringing humans closer to Allah SWT. Surah Al-Hujurat verses 11-12 and Surah Luqman verses 13-14 in the Qur'an contain Islamic educational values. Both letters are samples of a series of islamic educational ideals letters. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan nilai-nilai pendidikan di Al-Qur'an dan hadist, apa saja kandungannya. Penelitian ini diasari oleh rasa ingin tahu penulis, tentang apa saja isi Al-Qur'an dan hadist dengan tujuan mengetahui 1) apa saja isi dari Al-Qur'an dan Hadist yang berisi tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan 2) What is the meaning or content of Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-12 and Surah Luqman ayat 13-14? Penulis menggunakan jenis peneliian kualitatif dan menganalisa dari beberapa jurnal dan buku dalam penelitian ini. Serta, tidak lupa mengkaji dan memahami ayat Al-Qur'an dan hadist sebagai metode penelitian, yang dikenal dengan metode tahlily. Penulis memahami isi kandungan dalam Hadist atau sering disebut dengan teknik library reseach sebagai teknik dalam pengumpulan data-datanya, mengkaji surah Al-Hujurat, surah Luqman, dan memahami isi kandungan dalam Hadist or sering disebut dengan teknik Hasil penelitian ini adalah Nilai-nilai pendidikan dari Al-Qur'an, and hadist merupakan dasar yang memiliki kedudukan yang paling utama sebagai sumber dalam pedidikan karakter manusia, dimana pendidikan tersebut merupakan suatu upaya. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dapat ditemukan dalam Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-12 dan Surah Luqman ayat 13-14 Al-Qur'an. Masing-masing surah yang tercantum di atas adalah contoh dari salah satu surah yang berhubungan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam

    Abstract: There are three reasons for al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) to be used as courses at Muhammadiyah Higher Education, including: so that students are able to become Indonesians who are Muslim and have a modern mindset; students can be touched by their souls and able to practice their values; and fostering student ethics in the midst of the Muhammadiyah Higher Education environment. However, when AIK came into contact with students who had various religious ideological backgrounds, it gave birth to various perceptions. Based on this reality, the focus of this research is formulated in the form of a question: how are students' responses and perceptions to the AIK course system? This research is descriptive analytical with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and open-ended questionnaires. This research concluded that all respondents agreed that AIK was used as a subject for reasons, among others: it was able to understand Muhammadiyah's struggle; and he is able to have a strong Islamic provision, knowledge and understanding of pure Islam, and can practice Islamic values ​​in real life. However, AIK learning is considered too monotonous which emphasizes cognitive aspects, so that AIK does not encourage the awakening of daily values; learning methods, facilities and infrastructure also need improvement so that students avoid burnout.                                                 Keywords: religion, Islam, students Ada tiga alasan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) dijadikan mata kuliah di Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah, antara lain: agar mahasiswa mampu menjadi bangsa Indonesia yang beragama Islam dan mempunyai alam pikiran modern; mahasiswa dapat tersentuh jiwanya serta mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilainya; dan menumbuhkan etika kemahasiswaan di tengah-tengah lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah. Namun, ketika AIK bersentuhan dengan mahasiswa yang mempunyai latar ideologi keagamaan yang beragam melahirkan berbagai persepsi. Berdasarkan realitas tersebut, fokus riset ini dirumuskan dalam bentuk pertanyaan: bagaimana respon dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap sistem mata kuliah AIK?. Riset ini bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan angket yang sifatnya terbuka. Riset ini menyimpulkan, semua responden menyetujui AIK dijadikan mata kuliah dengan alasan, antara lain: bisa untuk memahami perjuangan Muhammadiyah; dan ia mampu memiliki bekal keislaman yang kuat, pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang Islam yang murni, serta dapat mengamalkan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan yang sebenarnya. Namun pembelajaran AIK dinilai terlalu monoton yang menekankan pada aspek kognitif, sehingga AIK kurang mendorong terbangunnya penjiwaan nilai nilai keseharian; metode pembelajaran, sarana maupun prasarana juga perlu pembenahan agar mahasiswa terhindar dari kejenuhan.     Abstract: Education is the process of internalizing knowledge and children or students. However it is not only that which needs to be conveyed by educators and parents,the issue of morality or character is also very important to instill. Moral education is the basis for growing an efficient generation.Moral Education must be instilled early,because at this stage children have a greater capacity to absorb a certain stimuli. Educators must be able to use the best way to develop ideal moral education in order to succeed in moral education. In fact,they must understand the attitudes that need to be taken to complete the implementation and indoctrination of moral education for early childhood.This research uses literature study and qualitative descriptive analysis.According to Ibn Miskawaih this research has the aim of fostering students with good moral and moral qualities. Acquire sufficient  knowledge through training and practice.   Pendidikan adalah proses internalisasi pengetahuan pada anak-anak atau peserta didik. Namun, bukan hanya itu juga yang perlu disampaikan oleh pendidik dan orang tua, masalah moral atau karakter juga sangat penting untuk di tanamkan. Pendidikan moral merupakan dasar untuk menumbuhkan generasi yang efisien. Pendidikan moral harus ditanamkan lebih awal, karena pada fase ini anak mempunyai kapasitas yang lebih besar untuk menyerap suatu rangsangan tertentu. Pendidik harus dapat menggunakan cara yang terbaik untuk mengembangkan pendidikan moral yang ideal agar berhasil dalam pendidikan moral.Bahkan, mereka harus memahami sikap yang perlu dilakukan untuk melengkapi implementasi dan indoktrinasi pendidikan moral bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan analisa deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun penelitian ini menurut Ibnu Miskawaih mempunyai tujuan untuk membina peserta didik dengan kualitas akhlak dan akhlak yang baik. Memperoleh pengetahuan yang cukup melalui pelatihan dan praktek.
