    Abstract: The pesantren moderation life is a cultural agent of noble religious life. As understood together, that Kyai is a source of pesantren culture. The success of the institution's moderation culture, is certainly inseparable from the communication patterns in creating an important component in the pesantren moderation culture. Based on that opinion, this research is very important to do. This study examines the pesantren leadership model in developing its moderation culture. The study will be conducted using a qualitative phenomonological approach. After conducting in-depth study, the discussions can be concluded that leadership communication is carried out based on the kyai knowledge and awareness. In the process, there are several important things to be found, namely, first, purposes. It includes informing, influencing or persuading, instructing and engaging moderation process. Second, the compilation of messages based on weakness of pesantren moderation and feedback shown by the pesantren society. Third, the selection of communication channels which includes verbal (meeting communication and the important meeting others) and nonverbal (uswah action and postering).

    Abstract: This study will discuss the ambiguity of the Majelis Tafsir al-Qur'an (MTA) as a missionary organization trying to explore the sacred heirlooms in the form of Islamic law or trying to purify Islamic law, by making MTA interpretations as a reference for their da'wah, in the introduction to their interpretation they will not using the hadith daif, the history of Israel as a reference. However, in reality, they are precisely inconsistent with the principles of the teachings of making the Old Testament as the source of their interpretation. This research is a library research that seeks to explore and explore the interpretations carried out by MTA. Through al-Dhakhil's approach as a study of the theory of criticism of puritan ideological interpretation, it was found that the interpretation of MTA which became the reference of his da'wah, was inconsistent between statements and practice and made the old treaty as a reference in his interpretation and equated with Torah, even though the two were different.

    Abstract: Epistemology is basically a branch of philosophy that studies the roots of thought and basic concepts of submission. The concept has a paradigm that gives birth to an idea in the process of thinking. This shows that there is an epistemology used by classical commentators, Ibn Katsir in understanding and explaining verses of the Qur'an in a lengthy and broad manner. Because of this interpretation if examined and critically examined again will be found in a comprehensive direction of thought in interpreting the Qur'an. Therefore, this paper is here to express and map significantly the epistemology of Ibn Katsir thought in the interpretation process. Thus it can be concluded, the source of knowledge in the interpretation contains two broad classifications, namely: First. Tafsir Bil Ma’tsur. Secondly, Tafsir Al-Ra'yi. The interpretation of bil matsur is divided into four interpretations, namely, the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’ran, the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Hadith, the interpretation of the Qur’an with friends, and the interpretation of the Qur’an with the opinion the tabi'in. while the interpretation of Al-Ra'yi as rational is supported by the science of the rules of language to reveal the meaning of sitematic ceremony. In short, the author will make a clear contribution on how the epistemology of the Qur'anic interpretation is carried out by Ibn Katsir.

    Abstract: This paper is about the Islamization movement of the kingdoms in South Sulawesi, sointegrated sara 'is into a social institution called pangadereng (Bugis) angadakkang (Makassar). To ensure the upholding of Islamic law, which has been integrated into the social system, a religious bureaucracy (Islam) known aswas formed sara '.     Abstract: The implementation of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah Method is expected to be able to form the reading of Al Qur an santri Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng which were originally influenced by dialects from each region to be harmonious in accordance with the Qira ah standard taught by K.H.M. Yusuf Masyhar. Based on the background above, this thesis is focused on three aspects of description, namely: 1) learning planning of Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah in Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng 2) the learning process of Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah in Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng 3) evaluation of learning Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah at the Islamic Boarding School Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng. This study states that the implementation of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah method includes: classical fas} ah} ah development, Al Qur'an payment, and Al Qur'an memorization. Evaluation of the learning of the Qur'an Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah carried out as a whole, both evaluations that are formal (the Qur'anic test) which is carried out every 6 months and evaluations relating to the learning process of the Qur'an Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah every month. The results of the Qira ah Muwaḥḥadah method at the Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School can form the Qur'anic readings of the students who were originally influenced by their respective regional dialects to be harmonious according to the Qira ah standard taught by K.H. M. Yusuf Masyhar, so that students of the Islamic Boarding School in Madrasatul Qur an Tebuireng can practice the reading of the Qur'an in their respective regions. Criteria for harmony in reading the Qur'an include: harmonious in the field of proficiency in saying makharijul h} uruf, harmonious in the practice of tajwid when reading the Qur'an and be harmonious in rhythm or song when chanting the verses of the Qur'an.

    Abstract: The spread of radical or terrorist character values ​​has begun to occur in many Islamic educational institutions. This fact must be a concern for Islamic educational institutions, including the MTs Islamic Boarding School (IBS) which is under the auspices of Islamic boarding schools. The IBS-based MTs Al-Qodiri 1 Jember has made efforts to overcome this, one of which is by integrating Sufi values ​​in the subject curriculum. To describe the integration process in the institution, the researchers used a qualitative research approach and the type of case study research. The results of his research indicate that the integration of Sufistic values ​​in subjects at MTs IBS has been carried out well. Sufistic values ​​that have been integrated consist of the values ​​of sincerity, simplicity, ukhuwah Islamiyah, independence and discipline. This integration process is carried out by means of all Sufistic values ​​being internalized in several focus or sub-focus discussions related to other values. The integration of these character values ​​into the subject curriculum is carried out in three aspects, namely into the syllabus, lesson plans and the learning process. This integration model can make it easier for teachers to carry out the process of planting, forming and habituation of Sufi values ​​in the daily lives of students. Penyebaran nilai-nilai karakter radikalis atau teroris sudah mulai banyak terjadi di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Kenyataan ini harus menjadi perhatian bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam termasuk juga lembaga MTs Islamic Boarding School (IBS) yang berada di bawah nauangan pondok pesantren. MTs Unggulan Al-Qodiri 1 Jember yang berbasis IBS ini sudah melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi ini, salah satunya dengan cara mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai sufistikan dalam kurikulum mata pelajaran. Untuk mendiskripsikan proses integrasi di lembaga tersebut, maka peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai sufistik dalam mata pelajaran di MTs IBS sudah dilakukan dengan baik. Nilai-nilai sufistik yang telah diintegrasikan terdiri dari nilai keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, ukhuwah Islamiyah, kemandirian dan kedisiplinan. Proses integrasi ini dilakukan dengan cara semua nilai sufistik diinternalisasikan dalam beberapa fokus atau sub fokus pembahasan yang berhubungan dengan nilai-nilai lainnya. Integrasi nilai-nilai karakter tersebut dalam kurikulum mata pelajaran dilakukan dalam tiga aspek yaitu kedalam silabus, RPP dan proses pembelajaran. Model integrasi ini dapat mempermudah guru untuk melakukan proses penanaman, pebentukan dan pembiasaan nilai-nilai sufistk dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik.

    Abstract: The leadershipteachers of Islamic Religious Education during the Covid-19 pandemic has an effect in every area of ​​Indonesian people's life, one of the sectors is the world of education. Education in Indonesia seems to get a shock that creates a new order in the learning process. The implication is that the learning process becomes distance learning, inevitably it must be applied considering the Ministry of Education and Culture's instructions to continue learning in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. Teachers at all levels of education are required to make new learning plans related to Distance Learning, which has never been implemented before. From the limitations of Islamic Religious Education teachers at the junior high school level who in fact are accustomed to face-to-face learning, they must turn learning into distance learning. Teachers of Islamic Religious Education at the primary school, primary school and and tertiary levels have a significant impact on the aspects of distance / online / online learning, as a respondent the author turned out to have an advantage in preparing for the learning process during the Covid-19 period. In distance learning they are able to continue working by optimizing all the potential that exists through electronic media. difficulty and also ease in implementing distance learning cannot be avoided, considering that the distance and access of students in following the learning process does not go as desired. This is also an attraction for research related to the distance learning process in schools.

    Abstract:   Abstrak Pemisahan Islam dan sains berakibat pada kemunduran peradaban umat Islam, di satu sisi, dan krisis eksistensial pada sisi yang lain. Integrasi keduanya dapat mengantarkan umat Islam pada prestasi peradaban sekaligus kesempurnaan moral. Upaya Integrasi Islam dan sains telah dimulai oleh para pemikir Muslim baik melalui dewesternisasi ilmu, Islamisasi ilmu, ilmuisasi Islam, dan lain sebagainya. Berbeda dengan tulisan serius para cendekiawan muslim tersebut, tulisan ini hanya akan berupaya mendeskripsikan integrasi bangunan epistemologis Islam dengan sains melalui library research berdasar pada data kepustakaan yang terkait. Fokus tulisan ini dibatasi pada masalah sebab keterpisahan umat Islam dengan sains dan bagaimana pola keselarasan espistemologi Islam dan sains. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan dua hal. Pertama, keterpisahan Islam dengan sains lebih dikarenakan aspek historis, sosiologis, politis dan bukan karena faktor sistem ajaran. Islam sebagai sebuah ajaran yang komprehensif tidak menempatkan “ilmu agama” dan “ilmu umum” dalam posisisi diametral-paradoksial. Kedua, pola keselarasan epistemologi Islam dan sains adalah kulli-juz’i (universal-partikular). Dengan kata lain, sains merupakan salah satu bagian dari ajaran Islam dalam satu keutuhan dan kesatuan sistem yang disebut sebagai way of life (jalan hidup). Kata Kunci: Islam, Sains, Epistemologi   Abstract The separation of Islam and science resulted in the decline of Muslim civilization, on the one hand, and an existential crisis on the other. The integration of fatigue can lead Muslims to achievement as well as moral perfection. Efforts to integrate Islam and science have been initiated by Muslim thinkers through the dewesternization of science, the Islamization of science, the science of Islam, and others. In contrast to the serious writings of these Muslim scholars, this paper will only attempt to describe the integration of Islamic epistemological buildings with science through library research based on related library data. The focus of this paper is on the problem of the separation of Muslims from science and how the pattern of harmony between Islamic espistemology and science. This paper concludes two things. First, the separation of Islam and science is based more on historical, sociological, political aspects and not because of the teaching system factor. Islam as a teaching includes not placing "religious knowledge" and "general science" in a diametral-paradoxical position. Second, the pattern of harmony between Islamic and scientific epistemology is kulli-juz'i (universal-particular).     Abstract: This study was written to see the village of Sukoreno, Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency, which has the characteristics of biodiversity diversity. The population consists of followers of Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Hindu culture. This study seeks to examine tolerance in inter-religious relations in the village of Sukoreno Umbulsari, the extent to which harmony between religious communities and how the role of religious extension agents are in caring for and maintaining religious harmony in Sukoreno. This research uses qualitative research methods field research (field reaserch). Community in Sukerone village Umbulsari sub-district is a community consisting of many different ethnicities, cultures, traditions and even traditions, but the attitude of mutual respect, giving freedom of religion, accepting other religions gracefully, and always having a positive attitude between religions. Religious extension workers, as an extension of the government, continue to carry out their duties, from providing counseling to advocating for religious issues to improve the quality of harmony between religious communities.
