In conclusion, the author advances reasons for categorizing the construction as a passive, discusses the extent to which the three verbs may be considered as auxiliaries, and inquires into the feasibility of incorporating the empirical features of the construction into a consistent theoretical model. The discussion reveals that neither the existing theoretical conceptions nor the author's own modification of a dependency-oriented approach are fully adequate to the task of accounting theoretically for the data observed.
    Inhalt: Gegenstand der Arbeit sind Konstruktionen mit der Fügung bekommen/kriegen/erhalten + Partizip II, die der Konversion eines im Aktivsatz auftretenden Dativs dienen. Ausgehend von Corpusdaten werden folgende Problemkreise untersucht: 1. Art der Vollverben, 2. Distribution der drei Hilfsverben, 3. Charakteristika der Subjekte, Objekte und Agensausdrücke der Konstruktion, 4. deren Bildbarkeit bzw. Nichtbildbarkeit, 5. die Partizipation dieses Passivtyps an allgemeinen satzgrammatischen Regeln, 6. die syntaktische und semantische Eigenart der Konstruktion, 7. der Passivstatus, die Auxiliarisierung der drei Hilfsverben und das Problem der konsistenten theoretischen Erfassung der Beobachtungsdaten. Hauptergebnisse der Arbeit: Die Bildbarkeit des bekommen-Passivs ist in einem erheblich größeren Bereich gegeben als gemeinhin angenommen. Die Bedeutungscharakteristika der Vollverben lassen sich auf eine Anzahl grundlegender Muster reduzieren, und von hier aus kann man die Restriktionen der Konstruktion (als Abweichungen von diesen semantischen Mustern) erfassen. Für die Distribution der Hilfsverben spielen neben stilistischen Faktoren z.T. auch grammatisch erfaßbare Momente eine Rolle. Die syntaktischen und semantischen Eigenschaften der Subjekte und Objekte sind in je verschiedener Weise vom konkreten Vollverb her bedingt, während eine entsprechende Bedingtheit der Agensausdrücke nicht nachweisbar ist. Die syntaktische und semantische Eigenart des bekommen-Passivs, die in erheblichem Maße mit der nicht vollständigen Auxiliarisierung seiner Hilfsverben zusammenhängt, stellt eine wesentliche Herausforderung für eine konsistente theoretische Beschreibung dar. Die im Schlußkapitel vorgenommene Konfrontation ausgewählter Konzeptionen mit den Beobachtungsdaten ergibt, daß keines der bisherigen Modelle die empirische Vielfalt dieses Passivtyps ganz adäquat einzufangen vermag. Das gilt auch für eine vom Verfasser präsentierte, modifizierte Variante des dependenztheoretischen Zugangs.
