Note:
Zu den zahlreichen Schätzen der Handschriftensammlung der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek gehört das berühmte Reuner Musterbuch, das einen Teil der Handschrift 507 bildet. Es handelt sich hier um einen Kodex aus dem Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts, der höchstwahrscheinlich in der Zisterzienserabtei Reun bei Graz angefertigt wurde. In den letzten hundert Jahren nun hat dieser Kodex, besonders wegen des darin enthaltenen Musterbuches, wiederholt die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gelenkt. 1) Als erster hat sich Wilhelm Wattenbach damit 2) befasst; als zweiter Julius von Schlosser ). Naturgemäss wurde der Kodex auch in den Handschriftenkatalog der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek 3) aufgenommen. Auf der durch die damalige Hofbibliothe}{ 1901 gehaltenen Miniaturenausstellung war er ebenfalls zu sehen und war in dem Katalog dieser Ausstellung 4) verzeichnet. Dies alles hat dann seinen Niederschlag in Hermann Julius Hermanns Veröffentlichung über die deutschen romanischen Handschriften in österreichischem Besitz gefunden 5), wobei die starkste Betonung auf dem kunsthistorischen Element liegt
