    Content: In dieser Arbeit wurde ein Rechenmodell entwickelt, mit dem die Rissbildung im Holz beim Eindrehen von Schrauben erfasst werden kann. Es ermöglicht die Abschätzung der erforderlichen Mindestholzdicken und Mindestabstände für unterschiedliche Schraubentypen. Mit einer neuen Prüfmethode werden hierzu Kräfte ermittelt, die beim Einschrauben auf ein Holzbauteil wirken. Durch Vergleichsversuche mit Referenzschrauben erlaubt diese Prüfmethode auch eine direkte Beurteilung des Spaltverhaltens.
