    Format: 1 electronic resource (159 p. p.)
    ISBN: 1000039462
Series Statement: Karlsruher Schriftenreihe Fahrzeugsystemtechnik / Institut für Fahrzeugsystemtechnik
Content: The oscillating disc cutting process has shown excellent results in precisely removing area-limited-concrete structures. Due to the highly dynamic oscillatory motion, the stiffness requirements to the tool structure and the basic machine have to be considered, which is the main purpose of this work. Based on these results, a concept of a mechanical adaption of the oscillating disc cutting process to an excavator attachment tool will be developed and tested on a prototype.

    ISBN: 1-000-03946-3
Series Statement: Schriftenreihe des Instituts für Angewandte Informatik - Automatisierungstechnik, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie
Content: New methods to generate and analyze motions of humanoid robots are presented and applied to a demonstrator. Reflexes of humans and neural central pattern generators (CPGs) were used as archetype. With leaky Integrate-and-Fire neurons a generic reflex template was designed and put to work for several specialized reflexes. The designed CPGs were used to analyze robotik motion as well as for generation of locomotion patterns on a biped demonstrator.

    Format: 1 electronic resource (XVIII, 237 p. p.)
    ISBN: 1000039461
Content: The contamination of food and feed with mycotoxins represents a worldwide problem. In order to conduct a risk assessment, further studies on the level of contamination and the toxicity of the mycotoxins are needed. The objective of the present work was to investigate the genotoxicity and the in vitro metabolism of zearalenone as well as of Alternaria toxins with a perylene quinone structure. New insights for the risk assessment of these mycotoxins were obtained.
