    Content: 本文借鉴传播学的模式作为论述结构，通过分析在传播过程中歌妓所起到的作用，尽量全面深入探讨歌妓在宋词发展中的地位。本文认为：由于歌妓具有相当的音律与文字知识，加上文人的多愁心绪等其他种种原因，歌妓与文人(宋词创作者或者说是信息制造者)有着较高层次的交流、共鸣，这促进了文人的创作；大量歌妓(作为信息传播者)对宋词的传唱及其与文人的交往扩大了词的传播范围；歌妓(由于其在宋词传播中的特殊地位)塑造了香艳词风，使宋词中的意象多偏于温柔；随着歌妓的淡出，词风也逐渐转向文人化的雅致；歌妓歌唱使宋词更注重合律、用典较少；慢词之兴起也要归功于歌妓对柳永词的传唱。
