In dieser Arbeit ist eine neue Methode zur lokalen, räumlichen Analyse von Wellenfeldern getestet und am Beispiel der Diffraktion von Wellenfeldern an einem Wellenbrecher validiert worden. Mit Zeitserien von Bildern einer CCD-Kamera wird die Meeresoberfläche räumlich und zeitlich erfasst. Die Bildsequenzen werden mittels einer Fouriertransformation in den Wellenzahl-Frequenzraum überführt. Mit Hilfe einer spektralen Filtermethode, welche auf der Dispersionsrelation für lineare Oberflächenschwerewellen beruht, werden das spektrale Signal des Seeganges und das Rauschen voneinander getrennt. Die anschließende Integration über die positiven Frequenzen ergibt ein richtungseindeutiges Wellenzahlspektrum. Diese Methode wird für die Untersuchung von homogenen Wellenfeldern eingesetzt. Unter inhomogenen Bedingungen, beispielsweise hervorgerufen durch Diffraktion oder Refraktion, erfolgt eine Umverteilung der spektralen Energie des Wellenfeldes. Solche Gebiete können nicht mit der oben beschriebenen Methode untersucht werden, weil eine Fouriertransformation Homogenität für das betrachtete Gebiet voraussetzt. Mit der neuen Methode werden inhomogene Wellenfelder, unter der Annahme lokaler Homogenität, untersucht. Dabei werden auf lokaler, räumlicher Skala Quellenzahlen in Betrag und Richtung sowie Bildspektren bestimmt. Die Wellenzahl wird aus der Phaseninformation gewonnen. Es wird anhand eines Testbildes und von Simulationen die Eignung des Verfahrens sowie die Genauigkeit zur Ermittlung der Wellenzahlen untersucht. Schließlich wird die Methode auf Bildsequenzen von Wellenfeldern in einem hydraulischen Modell angewendet. (AUT)
