Inhalt: Biographical note: Jörg Hofmann, geb. 1955, hat als Leiter des Bezirks Baden-Württemberg lange Jahre die operative Tarifpolitik der Industriegewerkschaft Metall im Südwesten Deutschlands verantwortet und geprägt. Seit 2013 koordiniert der Diplom-Ökonom, zunächst als Zweiter und seit 2015 als Erster Vorsitzender der IG Metall, die Tarifpolitik der IG Metall bundesweit. Stefan Schaumburg, geb. 1961, leitet seit Ende 2012 den Funktionsbereich Tarifpolitik beim Vorstand der IG Metall und ist zuständig für die Koordination der tarifpolitischen Aktivitäten der IG Metall. Der Diplom-Politologe ist seit 1989 hauptamtlich bei der IG Metall beschäftigt, darunter mehrere Jahre im Bereich der gewerkschaftlichen Bildungsarbeit, des Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutzes sowie von 2002 bis 2012 als Tarifsekretär in den Bezirken Berlin-Brandenburg-Sachsen und Mitte. Tanja Smolenski, geb. 1973, ist seit 2015 Leiterin des Funktionsbereichs Grundsatzfragen und Gesellschaftspolitik beim Vorstand der IG Metall und verantwortete dort unter anderem die große Beschäftigtenbefragung der IG Metall 2017, deren Ergebnisse die Forderungsdiskussion der Tarifrunde 2018 in der Metall- und Elektroindustrie stark beeinflusst haben. Von 2001 bis 2015 war sie als Politische Sekretärin beim Vorstand der IG Metall tätig und wesentlich am Aufbau des Berliner Büros beteiligt.
