Inhalt:
This volume is devoted to the numismatic evidence from the ancient and mediaeval city of Amorium in central Anatolia (Turkey). Section 1 discusses the city mint of Amorium, illustrated by a chronological and typological catalogue of known specimens. Sections 2 and 3 are a catalogue of some 730 coins that have been found at the site between 1987 and 2006. The finds confirm the city's enduring importance as the capital of the Anatolic Theme.
