Auf der Suche nach dem "archimedischen Punkt des Wissens" haben Denker der frühen Neuzeit (darunter Descartes und Kant) dem "Sein" der Metaphysiker (Aristoteles, Platon u.a.) das "Denken" entgegengestellt und zum Gegenstand ihrer Theorien gemacht. Dem Denken können wir, zumal denkend, nicht entrinnen. Dem wirklichkeitsfernen "reinen Denken" gegenüber hat Nietzsche die Sinnlichkeit und hat Wittgenstein die Sprache als ebenso begründend geltend gemacht. Scobel, Jahrgang 1959, Philosoph, Theologe und Fernsehmoderator (hier zuletzt ID-G 48/10), hat u.a. in Berkeley (Kalifornien) studiert und ist mit den Aussagen der angloamerikanischen Philosophie, mit der philosophischen Tradition bis hin zur Gegenwartsphilosophie vertraut. Das tatsächliche, sinnlich wie sozial strukturierte, Denken, in dem sich vieles aus der Tradition (z.B. die formale Logik) ebenso wiederfindet wie die Erkenntnisse der empirischen Wissenschaften, ohne deren Berücksichtigung eine Theorie des Denkens nicht mehr greift, ist sein Thema. Essayhaft im Stil und wie in einem sehr guten Roman voll von unerwarteten Wendungen. Sehr gelungen! (2)
