Rund 25 dieser Mysterien werden vorgestellt - ihr Aussehen, ihre erste Sichtung, Gattungszugehörigkeit, Größe und Verbreitung. Auch Beweise und mögliche (natürliche) Erklärungen werden aufgeführt. Das Buch liest sich unglaublich spannend und interessant. Anschließend kann man sich beim ein oder anderen dieser Wesen tatsächlich vorstellen, dass es in der Wildnis des Urwaldes, des Gebirges ... lebt. Einziges Manko: Die oft recht detaillierten Beschreibungen des Aussehens stimmen nicht immer mit den Zeichnungen überein. Aber wer weiß das schon so genau - Fotos findet man jedenfalls auch in diesem Buch nicht ...! Eine noch nicht da gewesene Bereicherung für jede Kinderbibliothek, die die kleinen Leser faszinieren wird. Kaufen!. - Nessie und Yeti kennt jeder.
