I. Klischees als Wahrnehmungsfilter Dieses Buch ist das dritte in einer Reihe von Darstellungen, deren Untertitel auf die Analyse von Klischees verweist. Wir begannen 1973 mit einer Jugendbuchanalyse "Zwischen Leitbild und Klischee", legten 1978 eine Analyse von Kinderaufsätzen vor: "Familie zwischen Klischee und Wirklichkeit" und beziehen uns hier auf die Wahrnehmung der juristischen Arbeit "zwischen Klischee und Information". Diese Gemeinsamkeit ist kein Zufall. Uns war die Frage nach den Handlungszielen wichtig, die Kindern (und Erwachsenen) für ihr Verhalten erfahrbar werden. Das können Normen und Leitbilder sein; aber auch Informationen, Problemstellungen, Drohungen und Belohnungen. Die mit der Tatsache des Lebens gegebene Handlungsbereitschaft (auch Handlungsfähigkeit oder Handlungsmöglichkeit) wird durch die jeweiligen Zielangebote der Umwelt "kanalisiert" und durch die Rückmeldung über Erreichen und Verfehlen der erwünschten Ziele zu mehr oder weniger dauerhaften Einstellungen und situationsspezifischen Handlungen geformt. Befriedigendes Verhalten hängt wesentlich von den Wahrnehmungen ab, die uns etwas über die erwünschten oder unerwünschten Handlungsziele mitteilen. Klischees sind in diesem Zusammenhang grobe Filter, durch die nur wahrnehmbar wird, was unseren Erwartungen gemäß ist. Sie färben, blenden aus und reproduzieren Gewohntes. Sie vereinfachen die mögliche Vielfalt der Wirklichkeit und wiegen uns in einer Pseudosicherheit, die uns eine Neuorientierung und die damit verbundene Verunsicherung erspart. Klischees vermitteln uns nur starre Grundmuster, die beliebig auflegbar und wiederholbar sind
