Die dreibändige Einführung in die Elektrotechnik und Elektronik hilft, die Elektrotechnik als ein Gesamtgebiet zu begreifen, das nach einheitlichen Prinzipien beschrieben werden kann. Band 1 enthält die Grundlagen elektrischer Netzwerke mit linearen und nichtlinearen resistiven Bauelementen sowie Analyseverfahren. Band 2 behandelt die Grundgesetze elektromagnetischer Felder, elektrische Erscheinungen in Leitern und Nichtleitern, den Magnetismus, die Induktion und die Energiewandlung. Der vorliegende Band 3 umfasst zeitveränderliche Vorgänge in Netzwerken und ihre Anwendung. Dazu gehört die Wechselstromtechnik mit der Transformation in den Frequenzbereich. Zusätzlich werden der Verstärkungsbegriff, Rückkopplung und Stabilität sowie die Wirkung von Netzwerkelementen mit stückweise fallender Kennlinie in Schaltungen eingeführt. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt sind Übertragungsvorgänge im Zeit- und Bildbereich und die Laplace-Transformation.
