Beiträge aus einer vom Familienministerium finanzierten Tagung von 1997. Die versammelten Soziologen beklagen in ihren Statements, daß von einer Soziologie der Liebe jenseits der Theorieperspektive und jenseits einer Betrachtung der Liebe im Kontext der Bindestrich-Soziologien (der Familie, der Partnerschaft ...) als einer Analyse der Liebe im Alltagshandeln bisher kaum die Rede sein könne. Die im Sinne dieser Aufgabenstellung hier zusammengetragenen "Bausteine zu einer Soziologie der Liebe" konfrontieren den Begriff der Liebesbeziehung unter Zuhilfenahme der Familien- und Paarsoziologie, der Emotionssoziologie sowie der Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung und der Medien- und Kommunikationssoziologie mit dem Wandel der Vorstellungen von Liebe, den Institutionalisierungsformen zur Entstehung, Gestaltung und Stabilisierung von Liebesbeziehungen sowie Fragen des Zusammenhangs von Liebe und Geschlechterpolitik. - Für ein akademisches Publikum neben den ebenso schwergewichtigen Bemühungen von Heinz Meyer ("Sexualität und Bindung": ID 26/94) oder G.
