Впервые монографически изучены водоросли верхнего фамена и нижнего карбона Урала, Сибири и Северо-Востока СССР. Установлено 11 комплексов · и подкомплексов водорослей, последовательно сменяющих друг друга в разрезе. Описано 110 видов, принадлежащих к 58 родам, в том числе 2 рода и 18 видов - новые. Выявлены изменения сообществ альгофлоры по латерали, имеющие фациальную природу, и особенности развития их в некоторых областях.
Книга рассчитана на палеонтологов, литологов, биологов, палеоэкологов.

Translation of abstract:
The Upper Famennian and Lower Carboniferous algae of the Urals, Siberia and the North-East of the USSR have been studied monographically for the first time. Eleven complexes and subcomplexes of algae have been established, successively replacing each other in the section. 110 species belonging to 58 genera have been described, including 2 genera and 18 species that are new. Lateral changes in algal flora communities of a facies nature have been revealed, as well as the peculiarities of their development in some areas. The book is intended for paleontologists, lithologists, biologists and paleoecologists.
