Da hat er sich in etwas reingeritten, der gute Marcus Carmichael. Und jetzt soll Elizabeth ihm da wieder raushelfen. Dabei sollte ihr ehemaliger Geheimdienst-Kollege doch eigentlich wissen, von wem man besser keine Diamanten mitgehen lässt, wenn man sich gerade auf einem Einsatz für den MI5 befindet. Dazu gehören ganz bestimmt: die New Yorker Mafia und kolumbianische Drogenkartelle. Sind die erst einmal im Spiel, geht es ziemlich sicher bald jemandem an den Kragen. Doch auch Profimörder können Fehler machen, etwa ihrem Handwerk in der Seniorenresidenz Coopers Chase nachzugehen. Denn wer hier mordet, dem ist der Donnerstagsmordclub auf den Fersen, und der macht, schneller als ihm lieb sein kann, aus dem Jäger den Gejagten.
