Sie schmieden Zukunftspläne, aber bevor die Träume konkret werden, platzen sie wie eine Seifenblase. Die Autorin schiebt das Geschehen zeitweise in die Parallelwelt eines 2. Romans, durch den ihre Heldin Distanz zu ihren Gefühlen sucht. Ein Filter aus Ironie und spöttischer Selbstkritik gibt dieser Liebes- und Verratsgeschichte etwas Unwirkliches, macht Wut und Enttäuschung scheinbar erträglicher und am Ende den Blick offen für eine neue Zukunft. Anne Weber, Jahrgang 1964, schreibt ihre Bücher auf Deutsch und Französisch, s. zuletzt "Gold im Mund" (BA 12/05) und "Besuch bei Zerberus" (BA 7/04). Sie besticht durch sprachliche Eleganz und die Fähigkeit, "auf leichte Art ernst zu werden" (Die Zeit). Vielleicht nicht ihr stärkstes Buch, trotzdem breit einsetzbar.
