Der 'Trojanerkrieg' Konrads von Würzburg bahnt Ende des 13. Jh.s neue Wege der volkssprachlichen Mythographie. Die Studie untersucht erstmals umfassend die poetischen Verfahren, die diese epistemischen Transformationen des Mythenerzählens bewirken. Hierzu wird ein Modell für die Analyse literarischer Wissensproduktion entwickelt, das zugleich historisierbar und anschlussfähig für allgemeine Wissensforschung ist.
