Gleichzeitig wird das Kino zu einem Hort perfider Hetzpropaganda und mit schuld an Krieg und Holocaust. Mit dem Kinosterben fällt das ehemals konkurrenzlose Massenmedium sang- und klanglos hinter das Fernsehen zurück.
