Der Vorteil dieses als Fragenkatalog konzipierten Buches gegenüber zusammenhängenden Darstellungen wie C. Geulen: "Geschichte des Rassismus" (BA 11/07) liegt in seiner leichten Zugänglichkeit. Alle 101 Fragen zum Thema sind - Neugier weckend formuliert - im Inhaltsverzeichnis aufgelistet. (z.B. "Welche Haut ist eigentlich 'hautfarben'?", "War Freitag gern Robinsons Sklave?" oder "Wo leben Kannibalen?"). Dies lädt ein zum gezielten und selektiven Lesen, obwohl der Text auch logisch fortlaufend aufgebaut und zu lesen ist. Die Konzeption des Buches mit seinen interessanten historisch-philosophischen bis hin zu alltagsnahen und aktuellen Fragestellungen und knappen (1-2 Seiten) Antworten hat immer den Bezug zum gegenwärtig vorhandenen Rassismus vor Augen. - Neben dem Erfahrungsbericht von N. Sow: "Deutschland schwarz-weiss" (BA 5/08) ein auch für Sekundarstufe II nutzbarer, anspruchsvoll formulierter kritischer Beitrag. (2 S)
