In dieser empirischen Arbeit geht es um die Evaluierung von Methoden der Ästhetischen Kommunikation im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Konkret untersucht wird die Entwicklung der Sprech- und Vortragskompetenz von sieben Probandinnen und Probanden eines Sprachkurses Deutsch als Fremdsprache, die sie während eines Semesters entwickeln, während sie die Sprechfassung eines Gedichtes erarbeiten. Das Forschungsprojekt folgt dabei einem qualitativen Ansatz und ist dem Bereich der action research zuzuordnen. Im Ergebnis kann die Autorin deutliche Entwicklungen der individuellen Sprech- und Vortragskompetenzen nachweisen. Sie zeigt somit, dass kreative, ganzheitliche Methoden der ästhetischen Kommunikation sinnvoll im Fremdsprachenunterricht einzusetzen sind und der Referenzrahmen in diesem Bereich ausdifferenziert werden könnte.
