Biographisches: "Elizabeth Strout wurde 1956 in Portland, Maine, geboren. Sie zählt zu den großen amerikanischen Erzählstimmen der Gegenwart. Ihr Werk erscheint weltweit und ist preisgekrönt. Für ihren Roman »Mit Blick aufs Meer« erhielt sie den Pulitzerpreis. »Oh, William!« und »Die Unvollkommenheit der Liebe« waren für den Man Booker Prize nominiert. »Alles ist möglich« wurde mit dem Story Prize ausgezeichnet. 2022 wurde sie mit dem Siegfried Lenz Preis ausgezeichnet. Elizabeth Strout lebt in Maine und in New York City."
