Ihr erstes Buch Foxes Unearthed (2016) über die Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Fuchs war für den Wainwright Prize nominiert und wurde mit dem Society of Authors' Roger Deakin Award ausgezeichnet, der für herausragendes Nature Writing vergeben wird. Jones lebt und arbeitet in Hampshire, Großbritannien."
