Das Lehrbuch behandelt den Allgemeinen Teil des Bürgerlichen Rechts, der die Grundlage für praktisch alle anderen Bereiche des Zivilrechts bildet. Insbesondere die allgemeine Rechtsgeschäftslehre muss auch im Schuld-, Sachen-, Familien- und Erbrecht beherrscht werden.
