Was bedeutet "Virtuelle Mobilität", welche Bedeutung haben neue Telekommunikationslösungen für die Entwicklung der Mobilität im Alltag? Experten äussern sich zum wachsenden Stellenwert virtueller Bewegungen im Alltag. Am Beispiel von Anwendungen wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit bereits heute virtuelle Mobilität reale Bewegungen ersetzen, im Alltag gebräuchlich sind und welche Wirkungen hieraus resultieren. Dies wird anhand von Ergebnissen diskutiert, die in einer repräsentativen Befragung deutscher Online-Nutzer erhoben wurden. Es wird dabei gezeigt, dass der Einsatz von neuen Telekommunikationslösungen durchaus reale Mobilität substituieren kann.
