Parallel dazu die Geschichte des Sozialarbeiters, der den jungen Israeli Jonathan pflegt und der sich auf eher abwegige Weise den Wunsch erfþllen mijchte, frei als Kþnstler zu leben, ein anderer zu sein. Ein spannungsvoller, psychologisch einfþhlsamer, in der Verknþpfung der beiden Schicksale etwas verblþffender Roman der gehobenen Unterhaltung.
