In der bereits mehrfach vorgestellten Reihe (zuletzt Türkisch und Chinesisch, BA 7/08) erscheint nun erstmals eine slawische Sprache. Auch hier gilt: Die verwendeten Fotos aus einem anderen Kulturkreis verpassen leider die Chance, auch Realien visuell zu vermitteln (Bilder von landestypischen Örtlichkeiten, Uniformen, Speisen u.Ä. wären sinnvoller). Außerdem gibt es Nichtübereinstimmungen zwischen den Sprachen, wo offenbar über das englische Ausgangsvokabular übersetzt wurde. Ein visuelles Wörterbuch leistet zwar im Lernprozess vor allem dank der optischen Gedächtnishilfe etwas, das "normale" Wörterbücher nicht können, aber es hat natürlich ein begrenztes Vokabular, es fehlen grammatische Informationen und Abstrakta sowie alles, was sich nicht bildlich darstellen lässt. Mitunter sind die Verweis-Striche auf die Fotos schlecht erkennbar, manche Fotos schlicht sinnlos (Schälchen mit Sahne, fettarmer Sahne, süßer Sahne und saurer Sahne oder kaum erkennbare Unterschiede bei Fotos einzelner Bodenarten). Nichtsdestotrotz: als Ergänzung zu den bekannten 2-sprachigen Wörterbüchern möglich. (3)
