Unfortunately this is the case of Jesús Turrubiartes Ortiz (1905-1975) immersed himself in the artistic medium of San Luis Potosi, and whose artistic production was seriously misunderstood in more than one occasion n the 1960's, mainly because it its erotic nature. The society of San Luis Potosi, including members of his own family, never understood the artist, which is why his works migrated to different states and countries where they knew how to appreciate and give due recognition to such a talented artist."
