Das "Nachwort" auf Seite [125]-130 ist unterzeichnet "F.B."; laut Seite 130 stammen die Holzschnitte "nicht aus dem Prätorius, sonder aus dem ... [1738 in Hirschberg] erschienenen Buche "Bekannte und unbekannte Historien von dem abentheuerlichen, weltberufenen Rieben-Zahl, [...]". Auch die im Prätorius nicht enthaltenen Geschichten Nr. 2, 22, 75, 77, 90, 107 sind daher entnommen." Die übrigen Geschichten sind aus den 3 Teilen " der "Daemonologia Rubinzalii Silesii" (Leipzig 1662 ff.)" und dem "Satyrus Etymologicus" (1668).
