"Scomparso improvvisamente, Alexander lascia in eredità la biblioteca al suo migliore amico. Tra i libri, un manoscritto molto particolare, un diario intimo e feroce in cui Alexander racconta la sua grande storia d'amore vissuta con una donna, molto più giovane e sposata. L'erede, colpito da questo sorprendente ritrovamento, decide di pubblicare il diario. Alexander era un giornalista viennese ormai anziano, uomo colto e raffinato, inviato di successo, bello e desiderato. Biographisches: "Joseph Zoderer (1935-2022) è stato uno scrittore altoatesino di lingua tedesca. Ha vissuto in Alto Adige fino ai cinque anni, poi, durante la guerra, i suoi genitori optarono per la cittadinanza tedesca e si trasferirono a Graz, in Austria. Dopo aver iniziato il ginnasio in Svizzera grazie a una borsa di studio, nel dopoguerra seguì la sua famiglia che aveva fatto ritorno in Alto Adige. Qui, nel 1957, conseguì il diploma di maturità classica a Merano. Si trasferì poi a Vienna per studiare all'Università e cominciò a collaborare come giornalista con importanti testate locali prima di tornare in Italia per lavorare alla RAI. È considerato uno dei maggiori scrittori di lingua tedesca del dopoguerra. Tra i suoi romanzi ricordiamo L' italiana (nuova edizione La nave di Teseo, 2022), Il dolore di cambiare pelle, La felicità di lavarsi le mani e I colori della crudeltà."
