Kurzfassung:
Soybean seed protein concentration has been declining over the past decades. Management practices are needed to maintain concentrations above market standards. The impact of N fertilization during reproductive stages on soybean seed protein was evaluated. Soil and foliar N fertilizations increased seed protein in late‐planted experiments. Biological N 2 fixation plays a critical role for securing high seed protein concentrations.
